Between 2009 and 2015, Team Falken Tire competed in the American Le Mans series and later the IMSA Tudor United SportsCar Championship in the GT class as privateers, competing against much larger and more established teams.
In their first four years competing with the 997-generation Porsche 911 GT3 RSR platform, Team Falken Tire entered 45 races and consistently placed within the top ten in their class, and delivered four first-in-class victories.
In 2014 and 2015, Arizona-based collector Jim Edwards purchased all three of these 997 911 GT3 RSRs directly from Falken with the promise that they would be put back into track-worth condition and that they would all run together on track at events such as Rennsport Reunion.
