One of the rarest 964 models released by Porsche, this 1 of 250 America Roadsters is ready for the summer with a full recent fresh service and new shoes. We love it as an opportunity for someone who wants to experience the open air in the sleek design of the turbo look listening to the purr of its 3.6 liter flat six.

The America Roadster based on the 964 cabriolet represents the 40th anniversary of its 356 patriarchs from 1952. Dressed in its wide body with upgrades to suspension and brakes, minus the Turbo tail. Recalling where racing began for Porsche, the 964 America Roadster results in a stylish 911 for active drivers confident in the direct feedback of the 964, almost as if the Porsche is an extension of the driver’s will.

Fresh into 2019, it is an honor to look back on the responsibility we had of restoring chassis #12336 Type 540 and a podium finish at Pebble Beach last August. One of the sixteen alloy bodied 356 America Roadsters we will always be gratefully associated with, along with a few others parked in client’s collections. We’ve also been fortunate to place a handful of these collectible 964 America Roadsters and can’t help but think … will Porsche ever release another? With all the new coming out of Porsche Exclusive (i.e. 911Ts, Speedsters, etc.) is there a 911 in our future that can live up to the legacy and bear the badge America Roadster?
