When you buy a T1 356 coupe in a really wonderful color but it’s one that doesn’t have the original engine with it, what do you do? On the left coast they simply re-stamp it and say it’s numbers matching. Here on the east coast you build an incredible driver and don’t worry about it. This Largo Green 1956 Coupe is the perfect example of a 356 Semi-outlaw. The exterior received a fresh layer of its original Largo Green paint, GT bumper trim and French style headlights and fog lamps. The interior was redone with Speedster seats in tan with green piping and oatmeal carpet. A roll bar and auxiliary gauges came along for the ride for that Outlaw feel. The engine is a 912 (1969) with 95hp stock that has been” warmed over” with a Sebring style exhaust for more spirited country drives. This is the best buy on a cool 356 you can drive we’ve seen in a long time. This is a fantastic 356 meant to be enjoyed!
