Road Scholars sponsored the Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance on the fairways of historic Pinehurst Resort.

Bob Ingram was named honorary chairman of the inaugural Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance.

Road Scholars won Best In Class for Race Cars 1900 to Present class with a Ferrari 333SP that won the 1998 24hrs of Daytona, Sebring, and came in third at the 24hrs of Le Mans.
