We’re thrilled to be representing chassis 84123 once again.  As 356 Speedsters will forever remain coveted iconic sports cars, chassis 84123 is a numbers matching example in one of the rarer more popular color combinations Porsche has produced.  Couple that with a restoration that has held up extremely well over the years, long ownership history, and fully vetted mechanically … you’re in the driver seat of one of the most killer Speedsters on the road.

I think we all can agree as Porsche fanatics that the Speedster popularized Porsche starting in the mid 50s.  Winning races equated to great advertisement leading to a more conventional dual purpose open sports car for the privateer market.  Being able to bring this affordable Speedster (approximately $3,000) to the US was the root of what we all enjoy today within the Porsche brand.  This was an era of when cars were fun and with your sports car came a lifestyle. We can all thank the Speedster when we’re out on our weekend drive, at a PCNA event, pulling into a cars and coffee, showing at the concour, or sharing our hobby with our families.  The Speedster represents one of the most legendary sports cars in the history of the automobile, and no doubt will remain a favorite and cornerstone in Porsche collections for many years to come.
