SOLD

This Porsche is one of the most famous 356s extant because of it’s low mileage (38,000 miles) and originality. When sold new, a young detail man named Tim Goodrich fell in love with this little Ruby Red 356 and offered to help the new owner keep it like new. Every week or so the owner would bring this 356 back to the dealership for Tim to clean and detail this gem.

A while later he traded this 356 in for the new 911 and Tim’s dream car was now on the lot. The dealership owner agreed to sell the 356 to Tim and let him make payments, fulfilling his dream of someday owning this car.

Tim detailed the car to perfection for the next 22 years and the awards piled up. The car has the distinction of being an original near flawless 356 that has been coveted by collectors since Tim including the late Otis Chandler.

This car has the distinction of being one of only 31 Porsche’s to win the Porsche Clubs Manhattan Trophy. It has also been a fixture in some of the best Porsche Collections in North America.
