An old friend is coming back to us and is ready for a new owner.

1973 Porsche 911T Coupe, Original family/Owner with only 68K Documented Miles. This 1973 911 T is one of only 1944 made with CIS fuel injection. This is fully documented 1973 911T Coupe with factory ordered Recaro leather sport seats. Built in January 1973, it was purchased by its original neurosurgeon owner on March 23, 1973. This physician drove the car only 65,000 miles over the next 30 years before giving it to his daughter in 2003.

Over the past four years she drove it less than 3,000 miles. This is the most thoroughly documented 34-year old Porsche you will ever find. Car comes with maintenance records since 1973, original factory window sticker and maintenance record book dated March 23, 1973 with dealer stamp, owner’s manual and even the original sales contract and payment receipt when he purchased the car. All the documents are in excellent condition. Also included in the sale of this ’73 911T are the “as new” complete tool kit, jack, 5th alloy wheel.

The overall condition of my car is incredible. It’s always been garaged and is completely rust free. The interior is 100% original and in great original condition. The body and paint are both in absolutely beautiful condition, freshly painted (original color) to our concours standards. The chrome trim is perfect and the Fuchs alloy wheels are unblemished. It has been impeccably maintained since day one.

The car has just been fully serviced including valve adjustments, clutch, new brakes, rebuilt calipers, shocks, batteries and new original spec michelin XWX tires. The original owner was so fanatical about service he had the updated chain tensioners installed back in 1986.

Factory extras include (per original window sticker),

  • 5-speed transmission ($165);
  • forged 6 x 15 alloy wheels ($543);
  • appearance group ($191);
  • tinted glass all around ($142);
  • FACTORY RECARO SPORT SEATS  LEFT AND RIGHT ($99).

If you are looking for an early 911 that is truly a great drivable car than this 1973 “T” is definitely worth considering.
