1994 Porsche 911/964 Turbo 3.6 – Finest Available

Fifteen years ago, when Road Scholars was just coming onto the Porsche scene, we had the opportunity to purchase this 1994 3.6 Turbo from its original owner. The car had covered only 1,300 miles and it had been ordered new through Beverly Hills Porsche. When the car had 500 miles on it, Ed (the owner) took it back to the dealer to have the cosmoline rust inhibitor removed from the chassis. Ed was in the financial business and he had Fridays off which he devoted to cleaning his Porsche. He pulled it out from his Garage, parked it by the pool, and picked an area of the car to clean. And clean he did. He once told me he would jack up the car, remove the inner fender liner, and clean underneath it!

We just finished servicing the car and the underside is as good as the top, which is simply amazing. Ed won his zone concourse with the PCA in Los Angeles. This may be the finest 3.6 Turbo in existence. The original (paint-to-sample) Slate Grey non-metallic finish is remarkable. The interior is outstanding, and the original black leather with red piping is virtually wear free. This car is simply the finest example of the most desirable Porsche Turbo model we’ve ever offered. It is all original and unmolested down to its original 18″ Yokohama P A008 tires. This two-owner car has covered only 1,900 miles from new, and it offers the rarest of opportunities to acquire what may be the best single-turbo Porsche on the planet.
