This 1994 Porsche 911 is one of 936 Speedsters produced between 1992 and 1994, just 427 of which were built for the US market.

Whereas the 1989 Speedster was primarily an aesthetic package, the 964 version sought a happy medium between the regular Carrera 2 and the hardcore Carrera RS. With the improved second-generation 3.6L engine (after 1992) producing 247 HP and with a curb weight of just 2,977 pounds, the 964 Speedster was among the liveliest performers in Porsche’s lineup for 1994. The cut-down windshield on the new car was not removable, greatly improving water-tightness, and the non-padded fabric top could be tucked away beneath the fiberglass twin-humped tonneau, which covered a fully-carpeted luggage storage space in lieu of rear seats.

A triple-black example, this Speedster was delivered with silver-painted 17-inch Carrera Cup-style alloy wheels. The original buyer-selected options included Comfort seats, rather than the much more commonly seen Recaro Sports buckets, Becker-Porsche CR-1 cassette stereo, air conditioning, and cruise control. This pristine example appears to have original paint on all panels which measure from 4 to 5.5 mils.

With only Four owners from new, this Speedster has covered only 11,142 miles and features a clean Carfax report that shows consistent progression of mileage from the original in-service date on October 30, 1994, to the present. It has been fully serviced by Road Scholars and is ready to be enjoyed by a new caretaker.
