2014 PORSCHE CAYENNE TURBO S – 39,000 MILES

This 2014 Cayenne is the ultimate family truckster! Porsche’s own press releases for this vehicle stressed its dual personality: “Ultimate power for aggressive driving…,” “Sporty and discreet appearance…,” “Superior performance and maximum exclusivity….”

How does it accomplish all that? This Turbo S nails the “discreet appearance” category with its black exterior paint, and it covers the “sporty” category with the Black and Carrera red leather interior with special stitching, the black dash, and black carpet.

Ultimate power? Think 4.8-liter V8 with twin water-cooled turbochargers and intercoolers developing 550 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of tree stump pulling torque that Porsche engineers mated to the Tiptronic S eight-speed transmission.

This Cayenne was just fully serviced to Porsche’s CPO specifications ($4,500), just to be certain no detail or function was left unexamined. The interior is awesome. The color combination of a Black-and-Carrera Red leather interior is one of only two offered for these Turbo S Cayennes, it’s classic, and it’s rarely seen on modern cars. The black paint is original and looks exactly as a well-kept car with 39,000 miles car should appear.

The drivability is amazing; around town it can be quite mild-mannered, very versatile, and tractable. One step on the gas pedal however brings out the primordial animal hiding inside its well-presented suit of clothes! Holy Cow does it haul ass! That V8 launches this machine from zero to 60 miles per hour in 4.3 seconds and on to a quoted top speed of 176 miles per hour. The saving grace to the raw acceleration is the massive serving platter-size Brembo brakes to slow it down.
