2018 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series

Porsche Exclusiv Manufaktur division has been tailoring Porsches since the early 1950s, and in 2018 they took the already impressive 991.2 911 Turbo S as a basis to produce 500 examples of the Turbo S Exclusive Series to showcase some of what their talented engineers and artisans were capable of. It was much more than just a flashy paint and wheel package- they made the Turbo S lighter, faster, and even more visually stunning than the production model.

The visual differences are instantly noticeable. Exclusiv Manufactur put their prowess with carbon fiber on full display, the characteristic symmetrical weave is on full display around the car, beginning from the exposed carbon stripes on the front bonnet that carry up to the carbon fiber roof, to the carbon fiber scoops and rear wing. Closer inspection reveals the same perfectly symmetrical carbon fiber used to craft the lower valence and side skirt inlays, mirror caps and triangles, and in the ducts integrated into the rear quarter panel. 20-inch open five-spoke wheels with center locks are first painted gold, then in black, and laser-etched to reveal the gold layer below. In addition to being distinctive, they put the PCCBs in full view and showcase the massive calipers that would typically be bright yellow, now finished in black with the Porsche lettering in gold to match that of the wheel.

Inside, black leather with gold stitching covers nearly every panel. Carbon fiber trim with gold strands woven in adorn the dash, center console, and door trims, adding a tasteful touch of color to the typically monochromatic carbon fiber trims available in production models. The seats feature Turbo S embroidery in yet more gold stitching, and the seat centers feature unique perforated inlays with gold visible through the tiny holes, a feature that is repeated in the suede headliner. It’s not just all show- the Exclusive Powerkit pushed the horsepower output to 607 horsepower- 27 more than the standard Turbo S model.

This example is number 462 of 500, and was purchased new by its first and only owner. It shows just 13 miles on the odometer and retains all of the seat coverings and protective films throughout the interior since taking delivery. It was configured with the Front Axle Lift System, Burmester audio system, and Porsche Entry & Drive keyless entry system from the short list of available options. Visually stunning, immensely powerful and limited to 500 examples offered to the world, the Turbo S Exclusive Series is one of the most impressive special-production 911s in modern times.
