This 2011 GT3 RS is a repeat guest of ours. We sold this car a few years ago as soon as it came in and our client just traded it back in. This is the rare color combination of White, with White Gold accents. These have just plain aged well with the more subdued colors.
Motor Trend Magazine may have said it best when its writer Carlos Lago said in July 2011, “Your dad warned you about this Porsche. Don’t let its red lipstick and wide hips persuade you, he said, because the only thing that follows this car is trouble. Speeding tickets, too.” The only red on this car are red accents, being the door pulls and seat belts, nothing over the top. We are servicing the car and adding new tires (died of old age!) and it’s ready to go. This is an exceptional example for the guy that demands the best.
The standard 3.8-liter engine in these cars produced 450 horsepower in a car that weighs 3,157 pounds with its six-speed manual gearbox. Talk about favorable “power-to-weight” ratio! As the MT story concluded, this car “offers engagement on the most visceral level. It is frighteningly old school.” Sounds pretty close to heaven.
