Monterey Auctions Preview 2019

Bonhams, Gooding and Company, and RM Sotheby’s are offering quite an array of Porsches across the Monterey Peninsula. They range from the very earliest one—the Typ 64 (ex-Ferdinand Porsche at RM)—through a good assortment of 1950s and 1960s 356s, a number of early 911s and 912s, a few 1970s-era Turbos up through the first 959 Sport legally imported (ex-Otis Chandler at Gooding) right up through 1990s GT2s, 2000s GT2s and GT3s, a 2018 Weissach edition (at Bonhams) and simply sensational racing cars at all three venues. It is very clear across the spectrum of all marques that there is a wealth of options available to collectors at this year’s auctions.
